About Us
Here are images from year previous Blue Dome Arts Festivals, shot by Don Emrick.
We did not ask for releases so if your photograph is on this site and you would like it to be removed, click here.
Last year over two hundred artists participated in the festival. It's truly a grass roots event, put on by a handful of volunteers who contribute their time and effort. The idea for the festival was conceived by Virginia Harrison, a local artist, who had the foresight to contact a local developer, Michael Sager, who shared her bohemian spirit and interest in showcasing the work of local artists. With the assistance of the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa, contributions from local businesses, other artists and individuals who believed in their vision the festival has been a rousing success and is well in the works for a fourth year.
Ultimately, after all is said and done it remains a community based festival dependent upon the artists and our citizens who support them to make the Blue Dome Festival a tradition that will continue to grow. Please spread the word...
